When and how do I change the blade(s) of the iMOW®?

Note: Before you prepare your STIHL product for use, put it into operation, clean, transport, store, maintain, repair, troubleshoot or dispose of it, please read the instruction manual carefully. The instruction manual contains safety instructions and supports you in using your STIHL product in a safe and environmentally friendly manner over a long service life.
Regularly maintaining the mowing deck can prevent the iMOW® from malfunctioning. When changing the blade(s), observe all safety precautions to avoid possible injuries. Wear work gloves made of resistant material to avoid cuts.
WARNING: The cutting edges of the blades are sharp. There is a risk of cutting oneself. Wear work gloves made of robust material.
Stop the robot mower and activate the device lock.
Grab the robot mower at the front grip surface (1) and the rear grip surface (2).
Turn the robot mower on its back.
Press and hold the lever (3).
Rotate the nut (4) counterclockwise until it can be removed.
Remove the nut (4).
Remove the blade disk (5).
Push the blade carrier (6) in the direction indicated by the arrow . The blade carrier (6) is unlocked.
Remove the blade carrier (6).
Detach all old blades (7).
Clean, blade disk (5), blade carrier (6) and nut (4).
Attach new blades (8). Insert only one blade per pin (9).
Put on the blade carrier (6).
Push the blade carrier (6) in the direction of the arrow and make sure that all three arms (10) underneath the pins (9) are positioned. The blade carrier (6) is locked.
Position the blade disk (5) on the robot mower.
Press and hold the lever (3).
Turn the nut (4) clockwise.
Release the lever (3) and tighten nut (4) securely clockwise. The levers (3) engage audibly.
Tilt the robotic mower onto its side and lean it securely against a stable wall. Carefully clean the mowing deck and mowing blade.
Push in both tabs (1) on the carrier plate with one hand and hold.
Remove the fastening nut (2) with your other hand.
Remove the mowing blade together with the fastening nut.
Installing the mowing blade:

Check the blade for damage before installation. The blade must be replaced if notches or cracks are identified or if its width is less than 25 mm, or its thickness is less than 1,3 mm at any point.
The carrier plate and the fastening nut must also be replaced if damaged (e.g. broken, worn). The fastening nut in particular must engage cleanly in the carrier plate.
Clean the blade, carrier plate and fastening nut prior to installation.
Fit the mowing blade (1) and fastening nut (2) on the carrier plate (3) as illustrated.
Ensure the correct position of the retainers (4) in the mowing blade.
Screw on the fastening nut (1) as far as possible. Several clicks are audible during tightening.
Ensure secure seating of the mowing blade by shaking carefully.
Following installation of a new mowing blade, confirm the blade replacement in the "Service" menu.
