Note: This article only applies to the RMI models 422 (P,PC), 522 C and 632 (C,P). 

Messages provide information about active errors, faults and recommendations. They are displayed in a dialogue window and can be called up after pressing the OK button in the ‘More - Information - Messages’ menu. 

The iMOW® display shows the message ‘Battery temperature - out of temperature range (M2040)’. This could be due to the following reason: 

The temperature range of the iMOW® or the battery is exceeded/fallen below at the start of mowing operation.

The temperature in the battery is too low or too high at the start of mowing operation. Observe the permissible temperature range of the battery. Only store and use the iMOW® battery within a temperature range of -10°C to max. +50°C. 

The operating temperature of the iMOW® or the docking station should be between + 5° and + 40° Celsius. Outside this temperature range, the iMOW® will not work and will not send a signal. Please ensure that the iMOW® is only used within a temperature range of + 5° to + 40° Celsius. Allow the iMOW® to cool down or warm up. 

In some cases, it may take some time for the iMOW® to adjust to the operating temperature. If necessary, adjust the active times and let your iMOW® mow in the afternoon in spring. In summer, the cooler mornings should be favoured.
