Note: Before you prepare your STIHL product for use, put it into operation, clean, transport, store, maintain, repair, troubleshoot or dispose of it, please read the instruction manual carefully. The instruction manual contains safety instructions and supports you in using your STIHL product in a safe and environmentally friendly manner over a long service life.

The AKM 100 small-area module stabilises the wire signal if the wire lengths are too short. Failure to install the AKM 100 on small mowing areas may result in the following faults:

  • If the wire lengths are too short, the docking station flashes SOS (iMOW® RMI) and no wire signal is output.
  • The iMOW® leaves the mowing area without reason.
  • The iMOW® robotic mower gets stuck inside the mowing area for no reason.
  • The iMOW® robotic mower reports that it has left the mowing area although it is still inside the perimeter wire.

Please note that the information on using the AKM 100 in the instruction manuals for the existing iMOW® models may differ.
