How can I enable or disable the disabling device on the iMOW®?

Note: Before you prepare your STIHL product for use, put it into operation, clean, transport, store, maintain, repair, troubleshoot or dispose of it, please read the instruction manual carefully. The instruction manual contains safety instructions and supports you in using your STIHL product in a safe and environmentally friendly manner over a long service life.
The robotic lawnmower must be locked before all maintenance and cleaning work, before transport and before inspection. The robotic mower cannot be put into operation when the disabling device is active.
Disabling device on the iMOW®
Activate the disabling device:
„Press STOP(“ 1). The robotic mower is stopped and locked. „Press STOP(“ 1) and hold until the light strip (2) is completely red.
„Press STOP(“ 1). The light strip (2) flashes twice. The robotic mower's disabling device is activated. The robotic lawnmower can be transported, stored, cleaned or maintained.
Deactivating the disabling device:
„Hold down the lock“ button.
Unlock the robotic lawnmower with the key combination shown on the light strip.
Note: Follow the instructions that the iMOW® gives you via the speech output („Info“ button). If the volume of the speech output is turned off or too low, you can adjust it in the MY iMOW® app in the „System“ menu under „General“.
In the „Commands“ menu, select „Lock iMOW®“ and confirm with the OK button.
In the Settings „menu“ , open the Security „ submenu“. Select „Disabling Device“ and confirm with the OK button.
Deactivating the disabling device:
Wake up the device by pressing any button.
Unlock the robotic mower with the key combination shown on the display. Depending on the model, this key combination may differ. Therefore, please follow the instructions in your user manual.
