The iMOW® can mow in the rain. Wet grass can however lead to increased ruts on the lawn and increased dirt build-up on the iMOW® . You can therefore decide for yourself the level of rain in which the iMOW® should still set out. The sensitivity of the rain sensor and the time the robotic mower waits until after rain has fallen before it returns to the mowing area varies, depending on the level. If the rain sensor detects that it is too wet, the mowing process is paused until it is dry enough and the iMOW® is in an active time.
Rain sensor of the iMOW®set
In the MY iMOW® app, use a slider to adjust the sensitivity of the rain sensor, under "System" > "Mowing" > "Sensitivity of the rain sensor".
In addition, there is a setting in the MY iMOW® app under "System" > "Mowing" > "Manual commands ignore the rain sensor" that overrides the rain sensor settings and ignores them when a mowing operation is started manually in the app or directly on the iMOW® .
Setting the rain sensor of the iMOW® RMI
The sensitivity can be set directly under "Settings" > "Rain sensor" on the iMOW® RMI- display. The rain sensor can also be set in the iMOW® app. Please note that the setting via the iMOW® app is only possible for C models. The current value is displayed in a line diagram in the menu under "SMART" > "Weather" > "Rain sensor".
The iMOW® RMI ignores the settings for the rain sensor when a mowing process is started manually in the app or directly on the iMOW® .
