STIHL ID account

The iMOW® can only be linked to one STIHL ID user account. If you want to control the robotic lawn mower with several end devices, you can log in to the MY iMOW® app with the same STIHL ID account.

Bluetooth® password

In addition, the iMOW® is protected by a Bluetooth password, which is set during installation and the first time it is linked to an end device. If you want to control the robotic lawn mower via Bluetooth with several end devices, the set password can be passed on.

The iMOW® has additional access functions that can be set in the MY iMOW® app under "System" > "Device access".

Set up home area

If this "Set up home area" function is activated, the iMOW® remembers the position where it is located when activated and defines the surrounding area as the home area. If the iMOW® leaves this home area, it locks.

Please note that the accuracy of the GPS position displayed on the map depends on your location. For example, the GPS signal may be disturbed by the environment or only a small number of satellites may be available. The GPS display is not intended to monitor the mowing operation of your iMOW®.

Alarm

If the "Alarm" function is activated, the iMOW® triggers an alarm when it is lifted.

User account (C models only)

The iMOW® RMI can only be linked to one user account. This connection allows the C models to be accessed via the iMOW® app.

PIN code

In addition, the iMOW® RMI can be protected by a PIN code, which restricts direct access on the machine.

The iMOW RMI also has safety functions. These can be activated by setting safety levels on the iMOW RMI under "Main menu" > "Settings" > "Security" > "Level" > "None/Low/Medium/High".

None

• The robotic mower is unprotected.

Low

• Anti-theft alarm (an alarm signal sounds when the robotic mower is lifted up, and can be prevented or deactivated by entering the PIN code).
• Reset lock (resetting the machine to factory settings only after entering the PIN code)
• Connection lock (pairing robotic mower with docking station)

Medium

• As "Low", plus the time lock is active (PIN code request for changing a setting).

High

• As with "Medium", but the adjustment protection is also active (adjustments can only be made after a PIN request).

GPS protection

The iMOW® C models are equipped with a GPS receiver.
 

When GPS protection is activated, the owner of the machine is notified if the machine is operated outside the home area. The PIN code is also requested on the display.

Recommendation:Set the safety level to 'Low', 'Medium' or 'High' and activate GPS protection via 'Main menu' > 'Security' > 'GPS protection'.
