Note: Before you prepare your STIHL product for use, put it into operation, clean, transport, store, maintain, repair, troubleshoot or dispose of it, please read the instruction manual carefully. The instruction manual contains safety instructions and supports you in using your STIHL product in a safe and environmentally friendly manner over a long service life.

The causes of difficulties with automatic docking can be varied. They can occur due to incorrect installation or environmental influences. In the following article, we want to support you with possible solutions.

Environmental influences
Dirty drive wheels, charging contacts and floor plate

  • Check the wheels of the iMOW® for dirt or blocking objects. If the drive wheels or the floor plate are dirty, the wheels may not have any grip and the iMOW® may dock crookedly or not at all.
  • If your iMOW® does not dock into the docking station, the charging contacts of the iMOW® or of the docking station could be dirty. Although the iMOW® can clean its charging contacts independently by maneuvering, coarse dirt requires manual attention.

Overheating

  • It could be that the iMOW® has overheated and needs to cool down before it can start driving again. Adjust the mowing plan to the weather if necessary.
