Setting the cutting height on the iMOW RMI

Cutting height for new installation

A good starting point is often a cutting height of around 40mm, as this is a good compromise for many types of grass. From there, you can adjust the cutting height and observe how your lawn reacts.

For the first few weeks, until the boundary wire has grown into the grass, set the cutting height to at least 35 mm to avoid damaging the boundary wire and to ensure safe operation. All heights below 35 mm are special heights for very flat lawns (uneven ground + < /- 1 cm).

Recommendations for cutting height depending on the season

Below you will find an overview of the recommended cutting height in the different seasons. However, please note that heat phases, frost phases or other weather conditions can influence these guideline values.
