Where can I find the serial number of my STIHL machine?

The serial number of your STIHL machine is required to register your machine in MY STIHL and to find the right spare parts and ensure an optimal customer care and/or support experience.

The STIHL serial number can always be found on the identification plate of your machine. This identification plate may vary slightly in size and shape depending on the type of machine, model or year of manufacture. As a rule, you will find the identification plate including the serial number in the form of a sticker on your machine.
